Vancouver

Week 1: Arrived on April 5th and settled into where I was staying. The first week was a bit hard to adjust too but soon I got it and understood the schedule and got accustomed to how things work here.

Week 2: After the first week and the first actual weekend, felt nice to get back into the swing of how things work and felt more conditioned but was still learning the ropes a bit. Ran into a bit of problems with my roommate wanting to cross the boarder constantly everyday, and with how things are with the US and Canada at this current time its not 100% safe to cross the boarder every single day. But fortunately enough we figured out a plan on how to do stuff.

Week 3: End of my third week here and it feels like the days and weeks are going by faster. Not a bad week, slowly seeing improvement and studying how my coach is. Actually training us. It seems like he's using his knowledge to help us learn but as a coach and somewhat a father figure if that makes sense. I got a bad headache on Thursday of the week and he suspected that I wasn't properly hydrating myself as well as not eating enough which seemed accurate so progressively trying to fix that.

Week 4: This week was more exhausting for some reason but it wasnt a terrible week. I was mainly just focused on the week after when I leave for a tournament I had in Chicago for Team Jamaica.

Week 5: Exciting week, spent the first 2 days regular training then the third day I had training then I went to the airport because I had to go to Chicago for a tournament. Waited about 10 hours at the airport before I could check my bags in. The flight wasnt so bad, I flew overnight and landed at around 5am in Chicago. First day we had a practice to get sort of familiar with everyone and our positions. The whole tournament we didnt do so good as we lost all 3 games we played with every odd against us. It was still a fun and good experience and I skate with the team again in July.

Week 6: Tiresome week. I got back from Chicago sunday night and meant to go to practice monday morning but I overslept and my coach let me skip that day. The rest of the week was a bit more exhausting than usual as I didnt really have a break in almost 2 weeks.
